Week 30
I've got lazy lately and so this week I decided I needed to make more of an effort. Last time I did that it was off to Flamborough, but this time I wanted some Landscape shots unlike anything I've done before. So after talking with a work colleague I decided that the Peak District was the place to go, to the Ladybower Resevoir and the damns used for practice by the dambusters during the second world war.
I've chosen a shot I took whilst walking along the Ladybower Dam, I love the moody feel of the image. The sky was quite bright so I used my ND grads to darken to sky and get more detail in the clouds. I've also added a vignette to enhance it further and bring the eye to the centre of the image.
I'll be uploading some other images to my site, which includes the upper Derwent valley dam which was designed to overflow.
